1. Introduction

This notice explains how CAZO Sp. z o.o. (“CAZO”, “we”, “us”) uses artificial intelligence (“AI”) tools in connection with www.cazo.eu, our marketing materials and the CAZO Design for Pets catalogues, in accordance with Article 50 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (the “AI Act”) and the Polish Act of 3 July 2026 on artificial intelligence systems. This notice supplements our Website Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and B2B General Terms and Conditions of Sale.

2. Where we use AI

● creating and editing lifestyle photographs and visualisations of our products,

● assisting with and editing marketing/advertising texts,

● creating catalogue graphic elements such as icons, buttons and pictograms that present product information attractively,

● assisting with the analysis and refinement of the layout/shape of catalogue materials.

3. What we do not do

● we do not use AI to make binding decisions about customers or for profiling within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR,

● we do not currently operate an AI chatbot or any other direct real-time user-AI interaction on the Website,

● icons, buttons and pictograms created with AI assistance are for information/decorative purposes only and do not, on their own, constitute a statement that a certificate, approval or standard is held – information on certificates we actually hold is available separately, on request.

4. Editorial control

All AI-assisted content is reviewed and approved by our team before publication. CAZO Sp. z o.o. retains full editorial responsibility for content published on the Website and in catalogue materials.

5. Labelling of content

In line with the transparency requirements of Article 50 of the AI Act, materials generated or modified by AI that could appear to be authentic photography are marked with an appropriate, clear and visible caption (e.g., “Visualisation AI-assisted”) at the place of publication, at the latest when a viewer first encounters such content.

6. Changes

We may update this notice as our tools and applicable law evolve. The current version will be published on this page together with its effective date.
